Today is the first day of school for the year 2012. It looks to me like the children are so excited but the year begins with a bang or should I say a knock on the door. The children are ready to start up their assignments for the second half of the year.
That is one of the benefits to Homeschooling. Each child can work at their very own pace. Some child will work ahead and in some cases we may need to work on other ways to teach a child. Some children learn better with the hands on approach. These child require a little extract time. Normally we will recognize these issues early in the school year. Either way a child learns there is no right and wrong way to learning, it is just the method that is used.
So at this time we have a few children more than ready to break out new books. However that is where the Big Bang happened. As one of the teachers began to explore the room that is being remodeled the box with all the books in it has disappearred. Not to scare anyone a few of us remember the men having a big bond fire as they cleaned up the classroom after their new remodeling was done....
Guess we need to wait until the men get home from their job they had going today.
